6. The Director of the National Institute for Health, Dr. Francis Collins, was interviewed on CSPAN on 4/6/13! Watch the interview for more information on the B.R.A.I.N. project to map the human brain.  He also lead the team that mapped the human genome! (6.75 min)

Challenge: Crash Course: The Nervous System
This is a high-school-level video.  I recommend putting on CC because he talks quickly.

It gets very confusing after 3:20, but it is interesting if you want to know EXACTLY how messages get from your fingers to your brain.  (Spoilers: It's active transport) (12 min)
